Use Organization in the badge or banner form to control display order with priority and organize promotions with tags.

Priority

How it works

Priority controls which promotions show first:

• Set a number from 1 to 9999. Lower numbers mean higher priority: 1 shows first.
• Promotions with the same priority show in creation order, oldest first.
• If more promotions qualify than a layout's maximum, the highest-priority promotions get the available spots.

For example, if all three promotions qualify and the layout maximum is 2:

Best practices

• Put important offers first. The default priority of 10 leaves room to give key promotions a priority of 1–9 so they show sooner.
• Prioritize groups. Give related promotions the same number, such as 20 for clearance and 30 for seasonal offers.
• Leave gaps. Using 10, 20, and 30 gives you room to add a promotion at 15 later.

Use tags to organize related badges and banners so you can:

• View promotions by tag on the Badges and Banners pages to find the ones you need.
• Include or exclude promotions by tag in layouts. See Layouts.
