How to get started with Flair

Get Flair set up in four quick steps. You can create and preview everything before starting your trial. When you're ready to go live, choose a plan to start your free trial and show Flair to shoppers.

Create your first promotion

Start with a badge or banner to see Flair in action. You can add more later.

1. In Flair, go to Badges and click Add badge (or Banners > Add banner).
2. Add a badge with the text Best Seller.

3. Under Conditions, select Product and choose a couple of products.

4. Click Save.

Enable Flair in your theme

Enable the Flair app embed, then click Save in the theme editor.

1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes, find your theme, and click Edit theme.
2. Click the App embeds icon in the left sidebar, find Flair, toggle it on, and click Save.

Place your first promotion

In the theme editor, add a Flair block where you want your badge or banner to appear.

1. Navigate to the page you want to edit (e.g. a product page) and click Add block (or +) where you want Flair to appear.

2. Under Apps, choose Flair badges or Flair banners.

3. Drag the block if needed, then click Save.

In the theme editor, matching Flair badges or banners appear in the block. If none match yet, you'll see a labeled placeholder like the one below.

Choose a plan to go live

Flair is visible in your theme editor preview, but shoppers won't see your promotions until you choose a plan. Choosing a plan starts your free trial and shows Flair on your live store.

1. In Flair, go to Settings > Billing.
2. Choose the plan that fits your store and start your free trial.
